Toby Graham has twenty years of experience in starting and working young or rank horses. He is also very knowledgeable in correcting unwanted or dangerous behavior anything from young horses, boss mares, problem ponies, or "studly" stallions. His expertise is in western riding and can help your horses learn the basics of backing, spinning, and more. Horses/ponies will be brought along slowly but effectively and put to the test for both in the ring and on trails. When leaving JTF your horse/pony will be moving off of your legs and seat instead of your hands. Let Toby bomb proof your horses today as well as starting them out on the right foot!

What our training program includes:
Here at Justintime Farm we try to expose our young horses to many situations in order to help them become healthy, sane, and sound. For those that come to us to be started the first 30 days they are started in the round pen and are worked under tack. Once they are confidently walk/trot/cantering then they are ready for trail rides and exposure to situations including crossing water/ditches/roads/around dogs etc. The horse/pony will also have light 15-20 minute workouts in the ring to learn the rest of the basics. During the next 60-90 days the training load will increase and the horse/pony will start to learn to really work off their hind end, working over poles, and depending on age will start over small fences. Those horses/ponies that come to us that have already been started will be put to the test in preparation for the show ring and will be evaluated individually as to what their needs are for the maximum improvement while here at JTF.

Electrolytes are added in the summer and mineral/salt blocks are available at all times. Our horses/ponies are worked six days a week for 1-2 sessions a day depending on their needs.
